Keystone and Keystone Light, perennial favourites of frat parties and shotgun enthusiasts south of the border, is bringing its bargain beer act north, announced with a version of this spot airing now on Canadian TV. The brands add to Molson Coors' line-up of discount brew, including Carling and Miller High Life.
"Keystone will be a feature player in our value segment," says Adam Moffat, Molson Coors' director of external communications. "Our strategy within this...

The New Hockey Math
Even if you've been watching Olympic hockey religiously, nary missing a women's or men's match since the start of the tournament, you likely didn't notice that from Feb.21 onward, the broadcasts were three minutes longer.
But trust me, Olympic sponsors and the Olympic Media Consortium have, probably with big smiles on their faces.
Prior to Canada's men's loss to the USA on that fateful Sunday, the International Olympic Committee approved an additional one...

Molson Canadian thanks Canadian Olympians
Miller High Life may (ironically?!) own the slogan “champagne of beers,” but Molson Canadian has adopted the bubbly look for its latest level of Olympic branding dubbed “Victory bottles.” Essentially, the folks at Molson have created a series of limited edition, three-litre champagne-esque bottles of beer, signed by Geoff Molson (top) and awarded to a number...

Why do deadlines work?
I’m reading Max Hastings Finest Yearsand there’s a lovely quote in there: “An Englishman’s mind works best when it is almost too late.” It’s the same for writers. But I wonder why?
This is a slightly different problem from the one I discussed in November which involves doing stuff at the last minute because a [...]

LEGO Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak
It’s a real shame that this Podbrix set has sold out. I want one. I particularly like the LEGO Space Odyssey calendar and the LEGO Apple II. Perhaps I should go get some LEGO for my birthday; it’s been a while. (Hat tip: Mashable.)

Blogging for Dollars (dummies)
Blogging the wrong or right (write) way
In the Feb 2008 issue of Entrepreneur, I found an interesting article on blogging for dollars. Mike Hogan writes, johnchow.com has increased from 3 dollars a month to ,000 in ad network advertisment just by blogging. Find that interesting?
It only makes sense by blogging you are creating unique content for the [...]
